A common reason users delete an account is to free up a phone number that was accidentally linked to the wrong email address. Since each phone number can only be associated with one GoodLabs account, you may need to delete an old or incorrect account before you can proceed with ordering tests on your primary account.

Why Delete an Account?

If you receive an error stating that your phone number is already in use while trying to order a test or complete your profile, follow the steps below to delete the account currently holding that number.

How to Permanently Delete Your Account

โš ๏ธ Warning: Deleting an account is permanent. All health data, biomarker history, and past order records associated with that specific email will be lost forever.

1. Navigate to Your Profile

Log in to the GoodLabs account you wish to remove. Click on My Profile in the left-hand sidebar.

2. Request a Deletion Code

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Account.

  • Review the data removal summary and click the red Request deletion code button.

  • A 6-digit verification code will be sent to the email address associated with that account.

3. Verify and Confirm

  • Enter the 6-digit code from your email into the verification boxes.

  • Click Delete My Account.

  • Once you see the confirmation message "Your account has been permanently deleted," your phone number is now "unlocked."

4. Re-link Your Number

You can now log back into your correct/primary account and add your phone number under the My Profile settings or during the checkout process for your next test.

Need extra help?

If you no longer have access to the email address associated with the "wrong" account and cannot receive the deletion code, please contact our support team via the Support tab in the sidebar for manual verification.
